I don’t think it can. Not sustainably. I’ve been pondering this question while sitting on a plane flying back from a break in New York. I find that having a break not only helps me to find my end of year mojo, but it also clears my mind enough that these questions come bubbling up. I am not one for large networking events, I much prefer smaller meetups or even one on one meetings with new people. Many business owners groan when I mention the word ‘systems’. It’s amazing how many small businesses don’t have systems in place. They fly by the seat of their pants, managing their business in an ad hoc or even a crisis management fashion. Not having systems in place can be a large contributor to the feeling of overwhelm that small businesses owners often feel. Not to mention the long term success of a business.
